About
I'm Katie, a Maine native whose passion for the outdoors inspired me to study architecture in Boston. My goal is to create spaces that intentionally connect the indoors and outdoors, recognizing that as a nation, we spend increasing amounts of time inside. I believe this shift contributes to the mental and physical health challenges we face today. Drawing on my experiences growing up in Maine’s natural landscapes and my research in biophilia; I aspire to open my own firm dedicated to designing environments that foster a comfortable connection between inhabitants and the outdoors.
